Mark Rosewater

Mark Rosewater is the head designer of Magic: The Gathering, a role he's held since 2003. He's responsible for the direction of the game's cards and sets, and has celebrated 30 years working at Wizards of the Coast. Rosewater believes that maintaining a close relationship with players is key to doing his job well. He's written an annual "State of Design" column since 2005, critically examining the previous year of Magic.
